Tongham Bowling Club Bowls Tour 2019 We are looking at  organising  a Bowls Tours August Bank Holiday  at The Norton Grange Warners Leisure Hotels I.O.W. 26th August to 30th August 2019 We will be organising  3 friendly bowls fixtures with clubs whilst we are over there. Cost: 4 Nights Half Board £219.00 Standard Twin / Double £239.00 Premier Twin / Double Cost of Ferry £55.00 per Car (max 6 person ) Entertainment in the evenings included Cost of Green Fees to be confirmed. Closing Date for names to to be put down  is 11th August We will be having a Bowls Tour Meeting on 11th August after the friendly fixture approx 7.30pm If you would be interested in coming, of course with our Mascots and having fun could you please put your names down below. Morning Members                                                               Coventry Cup Our Tongham Men played the Coventry Cup Competition  on the 4th July at Pyestock and won 57 - 29. Congratulations to you all and good luck in the next round.

Good Morning Everyone. On Sunday we played our yearly McKenzie Cup and Shield competition at the Seale and Sands, and albeit the weather was very warm, the Ladies Won there game 40 - 34 and very close game, and collected there Shield and brought back to Tongham of another year. Thank you ladies,  J. Peddle, S. Knott, S. Chadbond, J. Cooper, C. Higginbotham, J. Maginnis, S. Brine and myself , and excellent team effort.  Unfortunately the Men lost 51- 63 also a very close game but Seale and Sands men managed to win this year. Well Done also to our Tongham Men C. Cooper, C. Brine, L. Evans, S. Reid, J. Higginbotham, L. Porter, M. Spiller, C. Chadbond, A. Brady, A. Maginnis, D. Peddle and S. Aitkin. It was Seale and Sands 90th Anniversary and they put out a lovely tea for us and also we had a 90th Birthday cake to share with them.
